Hi all,

I vape menthol ultra 50/50 with extra flavor added but I do have issues with the pg. I did try it with just vg but couldn't stand the taste. I'm wondering if there is much of a flavor difference if I try 60vg/40pg. I'm trying very hard to figure out a way to make it work. Otherwise I'll have to find a way to quit vaping but not start smoking again.

Thanks!

Throat Hit, Vapor, and Consistency depend on the Base Mix you select:

The more PG in the mix will make the liquid thinner, and will produce more throat hit and less vapor.

The more VG in the base mix will make the liquid thicker, throat hit will be less and the vapor produced will be much greater.

REDUCED PG : Flavoring is PG based, if nicotine is selected it is added as VG based, and the remainder is filled with VG

100% PG : 100% PG, there is no VG in the bottle. This will produce little to NO vapor, and LOTS of throat hit

100 %VG : 100% VG, there is no PG in the bottle. This will produce little to NO throat hit, and LOTS of vapor

80%PG / 20%VG : This will produce a small vapor cloud , and LOTS of throat hit

70%PG / 30%VG : This will produce a small to moderate vapor cloud , and above-moderate throat hit

60%PG / 40%VG: This will produce a moderate vapor cloud , and moderate throat hit

BEST > 50%PG / 50%VG: This will produce a moderate vapor cloud , and moderate throat hit

40%PG / 60%VG : This will produce a moderate vapor cloud , and moderate throat hit

Throat hit also depends on how many milligrams of nicotine you select and what kind of device you are using it with (higher voltage, lower resistances etc).

Adding Menthol also increases throat hit.

Try 70pg/30vg.... This works for me

Don't know HOW you can stand the Menthol however....

Long time loyal customer, 2+ years. Applewood Specialty is our base juice that we mix with a few FSUSA juices for our very narrow range of flavor likes, like Butterscotch, Hopscotch. We adjust the vg and pg for DH with varying amounts of 100% vg and/or 100% pg.

So DH asked me what the pg/vg ratio of our beloved FSUSA Applewood is. I FORGET!!!

Sorry if this has been asked a bazillion times..... (just not finding quickly enough using search)

What is the VG/PG ratio of FSUSA Specialty line, please? (What ever it is is perfect for both of us for vapor and TH but we are in constant battle with DH getting hoarseness during a long day talking a lot at work.)

BTW.. we do add dashes of almond or cinnamon or vanilla, etc., for a little variation

Thanks and happy holidays, Feisty Alice

Edit.. Sorry.. should have started a new thread.

I always created specialties at 50/50 to get just the right flavor mix. I have dabbled with changing some of them off the 50/50 range to see how much the flavors change. alot of them change more then I prefer after removing some of the vg level so I leave them all at 50/50 to keep that original flavor I first created.
