I just got my first two tanks from ibtanked today. I've read baditudes blog, and everything went perfectly on the first one. So a couple hours later I went to set up my other one with my other adv flavor, and got carried away showing my hubby how the thingy worked...:blush::lol:... And flooded the tank. I haven't done anything other than blow excess juice out of the center, so far. What else do I need to do before using it so I don't ruin the carto?

Thanks!!

Place paper towel over the thread connector end of the carto. Turn the tank upside down so the liquid is not covering the holes in the carto sidewall. Blow through the driptip end to clear the flooding.

Don't do this with the tank in the normal position, or you will force more juice into the carto.

If it continues to flood, slide the carto down a little and use the base rubber seal to partially block the cart holes.

You may need to punch smaller or fewer holes next time.

Yeah, blow it out, and vape on!

Note: Everywhere I have read, they suggest blowing in from the thread side which is the designed airflow. Do that with the tank upside down like suggesting. If you blow from the drip tip side, it is against the designed airflow. Probably doesn't matter as much with a carto because of the location of the coils, but it is a heck of alot easier and is the way I do it.

I have been guilty of fiddling with the thingy too much as well. I had a customer call while I was priming a carto and forgot what I was doing. That one was a little gurgly for a minute or two.

I was impressed! Blew it out and had no gurgling. I thought for sure it would for at least a few minutes considering how much I got out

I had much better success with the carto then I have previously with my Kanger tanks! Thanks!!

You're going to go blind and grow hair on your palms fiddling with your thingy too much.

You made it so easy. I would have gone crazy trying to get it to work correctly.even with flooding the second one, it was much easier and worked better then my pro tanks. Lol! Thanks for all the time you've put into all this information. I'm certain you've kept many folks from grabbing the old analogs when they were overwhelmed or frustrated!!! Thanks for all you do!
