Hello. New to the cartomizer tank set up, but liking it. I have a pro v2 carto tank on the way, 3.0 ohm...I think single coil. Prior to ordering it I purchased a dual coil tank to see if I would like the carto set up--I do, but I notice that this one gets quite warm.....something that I did not get from a vivi. Is this normal? Or did i get some cheapy thing? Will there be less heat with a single coil? Also, it seems like this dual coil really sucks the battery life?....is that cartos or the dual coil? Thanks for any advice!!

Dual coils will definitely send out more heat than the single coil, which is why a good number actually prefer the single coil vs the dual coils in 510 cartomizers (including myself). In the same time, dual coil does actually drain the battery faster. Although the voltage may be set the same on a battery whether you use single vs dual coil, the heat generated and consumed by a dual coil cartomizer will be greater.

Think back to the old days! Chemistry 101: Heat = Energy. More heat generated = more energy consumed. Hope this helps!
