Question about Joye Ego batteries

Specifically the black ones...are the bodies of the batteries rubber? When I see pictures of these batteries online the black comes off to me as a rubber material, not a metal material. Not sure about the other colors they use with their batteries but what about the black? Is it metal and I'm seeing things or is it indeed some type of rubber?

If it's a true joye ego, it is metal coated in rubberish material.

Yes it does have a black rubber wrapper.It seems to keep it cooler than the metal ones.

Yea the rubber looks much more professional looking than bare metal with paint.
