This might be a weird or dumb question but I wanted to see what people thought. I am quite new to vaping and started off with juice from my local B&M which sufficed and I still have a couple favorites. About a week ago I ordered from VV, AiV and HHV and found a couple juices so far from VV and HHV that I fell in love with immediately. What I am wondering is that I just got off the analogs a couple days ago (been vaping about 18 days) and have been using 24 nic or 36 on one of the B&M. The B&M is 60/40 (I am just learning this stuff) and so I ordered 50/50 from the online vendors. I am *assuming* that eventually (don't know when) I will not mind to go down in nic content on my juices. Just not right now in the beginning days of no analogs.

I already need new/bigger bottles of at least 2 of the flavors (Virgin Vapors Kona Velvet Milkshake, and Heather's Cin City) and was also wondering about getting the same (smaller bottles) in 36 nic? Here is my question: will the taste change with a higher nic? I mean can I 'ruin' the taste for myself? Could the taste also get more...uh..."vivid" with less nic? I do realize that everyone's tastes are different, but anyone's experience with this will be valuable to me. Thanks for all U do!! signed "The Smiling Vaper" (lol)

Nic doesn't effect the taste. PG carries the flavor, VG produce the clouds of vape. 50/50 is the most requested, been happy with it but still experimenting with different %'s. Trying the 65/35 next, then going to try the 35/65 pg/vg. When I tried the 80/20, it was to strong/harsh tasting to me. I've found that 36mg & 34mg, are now way to much nic. Can't vape as much as I like till I start getting woozy. lol. Have been using 24mg nic, but since I received my Provari, I find I have to drop down to 18mg nic. Once I get my rba and genesis mods, I might have to drop down further, since the better the delivery system the more intense the nicotine transfer.

I think the biggest factor here is going to be your taste buds. If you have only gone a few days without smoking, nothing is going to taste the same in a few months from now.

Regarding PG carrying all of the flavor, I am not sure if that's true after trying some really tasty 100% VG juice for the first time.

Which B&M? I went into Ion for the first time yesterday. It's small but nice. I didn't try any juices, I just went in to buy hardware. All About Vapor has some good juice.

Oh my another Austinite! Hello! I may have gone to Ion--is that the one, like 183/McNeil-Spicewood? It was my first vape store visit and I was put off :-( I might say I am over 60 and the groups of shoppers there were all in their 20s --I have found now that I'm an "old lady" I don't get the "instant attention" I got in my 20's lol!

Then I looked on Yelp and found another, 183/Lamar (where Anderson Ln ends at Lamar, N Austin) "Phoenix Vape" and found it awesome. Have had such good service and knowledgeable help haven't cared to check for another B&M. But now ordering juices online as well.

Since you mention finding "tasty 100% VG" I will have to give that a go! I was afraid it would have little taste :-( thanks! Good to "meet" you.

That's the one! It is the closest to where I work and I had a urge to buy some new hardware yesterday.
Hmmmm....I didn't even know that Phoenix Vape was around. I will have to check it out.

I think you will find that there are a lot of factors that can influence how a juice tastes. You might buy a small sample bottle and like it and then buy a big bottle of the same juice with the same nic level and PG/VG ratio and think it tastes very different. Changing the nic level may or may not affect how you respond to a particular juice. Still, I say the biggest factor is going to be your own sense of taste and how it changes as you stay off of cigarettes.

Happy vaping!

I haven't noticed a change in flavor, you will notice a change in throat hit though. I started at 18mg and am down to 6mg and will start cutting to 3mg once my latest order arrives.

How long did you give yourself before taking each step down. With less nic are you vaping more or actually weaning off nic?
