I have read that VG is a thicker juice. I ordered a sample of some VGs, including Boba's Bounty and Gorilla juice from AVE. I have also read these can gunk up things..

I have a CE4 disposable clearo.. Will vaping these kill off my clearos? If so, how long will it take? And also, is it possible to clean them? I'm wanting to order a ViVi Nova or mini, but want to know how much I'll actually vape in a day before I do (my hardware hasn't come in the mail yet, and I'm new to this).

Any ideas/expectations for when my juices/hardware arrive?

Thanks!

Hi - you are correct that vg can gunk up your gear, especially the types that use "string" wicking systems. Like you said, they are disposable, so I don't take very good care of them. Some people have detailed ways of cleaning them, I just rinse them under a faucet and let them air dry. If the juice is very thick, it won't get the gunk out though and it usually doesn't get rid of strong flavors (I have mine dedicated to similar flavors, like one for fruits, one for mints, etc.)

It's hard to predict how long they will last. It depends on your vaping style and how often you use each one. One suggestion: keep an eye on the Gorilla juice. It isn't on the list of "tank cracking" liquids, but banana flavoring is almost as bad as cinnamon. You may not have a problem, just be aware that it is a possibility. The bottom of the drip tip tends to be the first thing to go. Cheers!

If you do want to burn clean the coils on the non-rebuildable clearo's, un screw the mouth piece and take a paper clip and insert it into the nozel at the top, pull it out at a slight angle and then after you wash and air dry it you can put it back on your battery and dry burn it.
There will be alot of gunk build up on there and you can get a few more weeks out of them by doing this.

Now when you put that rubber piece back on, use the paper clip again to push it down till it sits correctly.

I can tell you what i do from experience.

I vape about 2.5 to 3ml a day. It's best to rinse a disposable clearo daily with warm water before refilling. Gunk occurs when you refill without cleaning.

I use 100% vg in a kanger t3 and i change coil bases each time i am going to refill to specifically avoid gunk.

Using a vivi is basically the same as any other clearo so if you don't clean them out daily they will get gunky and the liquid will get very dark and thick.

Chang the vivi coil head before refilling and let the one you've used soak for a few hours. So change the coils everytime you refill and you should be ok with 100% vg. It's true the liquid still gets a little back wash and gets slightly darker but not so much that you'd notice.

You could always half fill so the liquid doesn't get a chance to get gunky.

If you want to clean the clearo you have now then what i do is fill with warm water, block the bottom with your finger, and then suck on it a few times so the water gets drawn into the wick, empty and repeat. It should'nt take more than five minutes to make it clean. After that a dry burn would be recommended to get rid of the water from the coil/wick. Or leaving it to dry out naturally would be a better option.

The vivi comes with three coil heads so changing them before refilling is a good idea.

That's all i've got.

I have found that all the soaking etc is a waste of time. I know a lot of the "experts" on here will disagree but I usually just rinse them out good daily. It should be be obvious when performance has noticeably dropped off and you need to dry burn. I have only had a couple coils "pop" on me when doing this. After the daily rinse, I would then dry burn them if necessary, when dried out.
