Question about Kanger Pro Tank

If you order a protank 2 it doesn't come with a beauty ring, you have to order one separately. You don't HAVE to use one but it does look better and feel sturdier with one.

The protank 2 has a removable drip tip (which is nice if you want to switch them up), however the mini protank doesn't (at this time).

Oddly, the PT2 I got with my ProVari kit came with a beauty ring. I was a bit shocked. I ordered 6 more PT2s from ProVape, so we'll see if those come with beauty rings next week.

It was in the box in the round depressed area where the base went in another PT2 I ordered from another vendor. The base came attached to the tank, unlike on the other one. The box also has a round oval sticker on the corner that says Pure. My guess is ProVape got a custom setup by Kanger to include with the ProVari kit.

I have both and love them. I prefer the Mini as I have flooding issues with the big one. I have to pull the coil apart frequently to fiddle with the wicking. But both are great, well built, good looking and smooth vaping tanks.

I hate to piggy back on a thread but what about the protank 3? I keep reading reviews from great to terrible, anyone here have any input? I'm getting ready to checkout my order but I'm just not sure.

I've had a Protank III for about a month and it was a pain to get right on my Provari until I got a Hippo v2. Now I love it. I replace the head every few days to keep it running well. I just soak it in water overnight, wrap it in paper towel and leave it for the day. I've been using the same 2 heads that came with it even tho I have 10 new ones waiting.
