Question about Kick 2 by Evolv

I have a kick 2 that I use on my nemesis mod running at 15 watts, but I notice that it seems like the kick 2 device gets hot as the part near the top cap where the chip is seems to get hot.. Is that normal? I wasn't sure if the kick 2 heats up when chain vaping? The battery doesn't seem hot or the atomizer. Also I'm currently using the nemesis with the air flow cap on, I plan to get the stealth cap will that cause me any problems?? I'm using a orbtronics / panasonic 2900 mAH battery.
