Evolv Kick 1 limited to (10 watts) ... Is the Sigelei Kick (15 watts) just as good of quality?

There are so many "Kick" clones out there now, that I don't know which is good and which ones to avoid.

I am presently using an authentic "Evolv" Kick 1 module in my "King" clone mech mod which is topped with a "SvoëMesto" Kayfun Lite Plus. I vape my single 1.6 ohm coil at 10 watts.

Of course, the Kick 1 is limited to only 10 watts of power max ... I would now like to vape at around 12 watts, so I was looking at a few other Kick type modules to replace my Kick 1.

1. The Evolv Kick 2 would be great in that it has a 15 watt limit, but I don't want to pay the high price there asking for an authentic "Evolv" Kick 2 ($45).

2. I was looking at fasttech, and they sell a "Sigelei" Kick that also has a 15 watt max output. For $9.07, this would be perfect if it lasts as long as my old "Evolv" Kick 1.

3. fasttech also has another Kick type module, but it's limited to only 12 watts of power. That may still work for me, but fasttech don't mention who the manufacturer of that one is, and I don't have any idea as to it's quality.

4. And finally, there is the "Smok" Kick module. Seems to be only sold from vendors here in the US at a price around $19. And it's limited to 12 watts like the FastTech 'no-name' module I just mentioned above.

So, there you have it .... What do you folks think of the $9.07 Sigelei (15 watts) that FastTech is selling?

Thanks,
Ron

I actually use the VW kick from FT.. and even though I like it overall, I am doubting the fact it actually supports 15w. I'll go put it through it's paces again right now..

for this test, I'm using a nemesis clone and a Sony VTC4. The only tester I have is a Smok omnitester.
testing the battery fresh off the charger.... it reads 4.2V... like it should
putting the battery into the nemesis/kick... Cranking the kick up to it's highest setting....
Testing.... Didn't work.. center pin must be too far in... adjusting center pin....
Ok.. putting it back on and testing.... 6.1V
putting on a kayfun lite... it reads... 2.5 ohms... (oh my.. need to lower that later)
Testing voltage under load....5.8 V
checking ohmslawcalculator.com... 5.8v @ 2.5 ohms, it's supplying 13.45 watts.

Now, considering there's probably some voltage drop in the mod itself and in the tester, I would say I was wrong, it does offer arround 15w. I don't know if it's exactly 15 watts, but it's definately more than 12w. I wish I had more higher ohm atomizers to test, but I usually run between .5 and .8 ohm coils. This kick will not fire below 1.2 ohm I believe... something to consider.

Anyways, my ::2c worth.

Yes, that was the one I bought. I did have to shave the pin down for it to fit, but that's minor. I bought it as a backup for if (and it did) my vamo would died. Problem is, the Nemesis I bought it with/for I hate. :) Since then, I've become accustomed to mechanical mods, so it doesn't get used that much. But the kick is fine and does it's job.

Got the fasttech kick, it's cheep and it does the work.
I don't use it anymore, but was using it for several months with no problems. Even after an incident that my mech button got stuck and it kept firing continuously for around 5 min, the kick got super hot, but after it cooled down it kept working (heres stress testing for you).
For the dirt cheep price of 7$ you can't go wrong, if it burns just buy another.
