Is using a low resistance cartomizer the same thing as turning up the voltage on a battery? I don't have variable voltage batteries but I do have LR cartomizers. I'm also wondering when it is appropriate to use them versus standard cartomizers. Are there certain juices that do better with the LR or with the standard?

I just got some juice in the mail last night and while reading the reviews about the juice some said to turn up your voltage to really bring the coffee flavor out. That's why I'm wondering.

Yes, sort of like turning up voltage. Lower ohms = more heat.

The thing is you'd have to do the math for watts to figure out what ohms to use.

Did they give an example of the voltage they said was good? And what ohms did they use with that voltage?

Also, what device are you using? (so we know it's voltage too).

Also, different coils are different, so this exercise is a ballpark figure only.

So basically, if you don't know all those answers:
Get some 2.0 ohm stuff and some 1.8 ohm and some 1.5 ohm and try different ones since they will be different heat levels.....(I assume you're already using 2.3 ish omh stuff)

Well the 2.2 (the average of the #'s you gave) ohm stuff at 4.2 volts = 8 watts.

So that's fine. As the voltage drops it will get cooler.

However, that's a cig-a-like. As long as Halo says you can use those cartos, go ahead. The battery won't last as long though. You should get more vapor.

EDIT: looked at site. They sell em for that model. So yeah. One reviewer claimed he/she only gets 2 days out of a carto. However, that varies by juice too.

Darker juices gunk stuff up faster and you'll have to replace it sooner. <-- general rule.
