Question about making carts

Thanks for all the help so far.

Is there a tutorial out that on what to use to fill an empty cart. I know there
is the "tea bag" mod but what do some others use??? Polyfill?

Any help would be appreciated.

I like the pyramid teabag mod. These mods really do improve the performance. I do a shredded version I found a tutorial on. Try looking in here for cart mods.

This is the best I've tried. It beats 'em all.
I use the blue fish filter foam on mine.

It would be nice if there was one thread where people who have tried different things can discuss what they like and don't like about each one, and what they eventualy settled on.

Well, what they settled on until the next new thing to try comes along.


I've tried the following...
-blue fish foam
-pipe screens
-Pyramid tea bags
-regular polyfil
-straw mod
-spring mod (ADM)

I had settled on the blue foam but am now back to experimenting.
I am trying variations on the spring mod (ADM) right now.


I haven't tried the following...
-Fluval
-Wool nibs
-pillow batting
-cigarette filters
-hemp rope

Hole about mid way down on filler cart to help air flow
Straw
Small amount of wool
Spring
Juice
Plug

This works best for me and I've tried poly, cotton, brass, and a couple other ways I can't think of right now.
