You can, but you will still be limited by the output power and the voltage drop as the battery depletes of the stickv8, so most likely you'll see no difference.

Best upgrade is to a decent regulated power device with variable power output. Then you'll have consistent power output going to whatever you put on top and you can raise or lower power to find your personal sweet spot.
That alone makes a huge difference.

I agree. Your mod is a fixed single voltage/wattage mod. You'd be better off getting a variable wattage regulated mod so that you can adjust your vape "on the fly".

The only way to change your vape with your current mod, which is essentually a mechanical mod with some protection circuitry, is to change your coil resistance that you use. Wouldn't it be much easier to have a regulated variable power mod and change the power output and it wouldn't matter what coil or tank that you're using?

With an unregulated mod like yours, the power output drops as the battery voltage drops. So your vape will strongest with a fully charge battery, and become weaker as the battery drains.

A regulated mod has a chipset which regulates the power output to remain steady to the power (wattage) you set regardless of the charge left in the battery. Your last puff will be the same as your first.

Hello @Cory Martin, sorry to parrot others but I think that you've moved on beyond a starter kit.

So a new mod and possibly a tank are in order, for a mod something like the Geekvape Aegis Legend may be of interest. It's a dual 18650 mod that is ruggedised. Which means that it's Water, dust and shock resistant. So it withstands punishment somewhat.

And with tanks, so many to choose from. Freemax Fireluke and Mesh Pro as well as Horizontech Falcon King get lots of mentions due to how many people use and enjoy them.

But these are just ideas only.
