Hello All,
First I would like to give some background. Like many others I used vaping to ditch analogs, but I find myself disheartened that I am still in fact addicted to nicotine. In fact I am averaging 3ml of 6% NIC juice a day which if I understand correctly means I am consuming roughly 18mg of NIC less what I exhale and what is lost to leakage. A Google search revealed that 1 cigarette produces on average 1mg of nicotine this means that I am not consuming more nicotine than I was when I was a half a pack a day smoker.

Now the question. I would like to move down in Nicotine levels, but expectantly each time the nicotine is cut in half the throat hit suffers terrible. After some time I was able to leave 12% for good and go to 6%, but the move down to 3% has proven even more disappointing. I have read that PG is responsible for a certain degree of the throat hit so is it possible to adjust for lost nicotine by increasing the ration of PG in the solution? If not does anyone have any tips on how to overcome the lackluster feel of 3% juice?

Thank You
Scott

how fast are you making these drops? (cause rushing these drops can make them harded to deal with)

what gear are you using? ( I ask, cause you can increase throat hit a bit, but warmer vapes from drippers, because you are actually vaporizing more juice at a time)

p.s. you could also mix your own 4.5mg (by combining equal parts 3 and 6) to hold you over as you adjust.

My rig is an Itaste VTR with an Iclear 30s. I vape on the go so i need a compact easy to use rig like this one. I usually stay at a level for several months. I have been on 6 for about 3 months now.

Well, 3% in my experience is usually what I drip with. The reason I drip with it is because the serious lack of throat hit.
The great thing about vaping is, you CAN make your own juice. (as fallenrawtoast suggested) And when you make your own juice, you can customize your nic levels to fit you better. Just read up on it before trying in the DIY Juice section!

Hope I Helped!

I have a VTR, great work horse of a device. I wasnt so thrilled with the iClear 30S that came with it though. Might I suggest getting an aerotank by kanger, the regular sized on will fit inside the ring. I found that I got a far better throat tickle with the aerotank on the VTR than I did with the iClear 30S, the adjustable air flow, and the bottom dual coil, really warmed up and improved my vapor levels, which made my throat feel a bit better "tickled".
