Question about nickel wire

Hey everyone! I'm not sure if there's alfeady another thread about nickel wire but I could find one. Anyways I'm getting into temperature control, I have the ipv4 coming in soon and was thinking of order nickel wire. What's the differences from tempered and annealed nickel wire? I was gonna order from Lightning Vapes but I read a while back that the wire was defected or something? Any place to buy nickel wire on the low?
And also let me add.. Differences using pure nickel wire?

i have annealed nickel wire from lightning vapes that works completely fine.

Go for pure if you have the choice (plain ol ni200 or ni201 preferably for less carbon composition), your going to anneal it anyway after the first fire. Tempered just makes it a bit more stiff and not springy so it feels more like kanthal (though why people would want to is beyond me).

NI200 is your best bet, just the plain jane stuff. If I remember correctly, both tempered and annealed go through an additional steps to ensure that they are more firm, and less springy. Standard NI200 works fine.
