So I've only used VV batteries..vision spinner, itaste vv v3, and vision spinner ii. I would like a back-up battery, but I was wondering...

If I decide to go for a back-up battery that is non-vv, I understand that the output is 4.2v, correct? With my VV batteries, I NEVER go above 3.8v without my juice tasting burnt. Will my juice always taste burnt with a non-vv battery if I just switch my clearos over? I really just want a cheapy tiny safe battery to use while charging and in a pinch if my go-to fails.

Thanks for reading :)

If you want 'tiny' ie: 650mAh, then the Joye eGo-c upgrade batt would be a good choice. $17 at cignot.com eg., but it will last you 4-5 times longer (about 2 years or more depending on use) than the "cheap" ones you have to buy every 3 months.

The eGo-c upgrade batt has two modes - one a constant 3.4V and one with the regular 3.7V voltage curve - 4.2V off the charger for a few drags going to 3.6-3.8V for most of the charge, going to 3.2V towards the end.
