i had an 801 battery die on me the other day and i decided to make a
passthrough out of it. while picking up the switch at radioshack i found
a ppc w/a usb output spec of 5VDC 750mA.
the passthrough i made is just brutal when plugged into a usb port on my pc.
if i use the ppc,the performance is much less but still better than a standard
801 battery.
can anyone shed some light as to why this may be as i though usb ports
can only supply 500mA?
