So i have been playing around with almost every type of resistance wire from nichrome 60&80 34g-28g kanthal A-1 34g-28g and ribbon wire of both. My question is about heating up the coils and how long it takes to heat up and actually start vaporizing the juice...
It seems to me that thicker wire with more wraps takes longer than equivalent ohms on a thinner wire with less wraps. idk, it Makes sense but it doesnt seem like it should have that big of an affect.
I get more vapor faster with less wraps than with more wraps. Tried ribbon wire and it doesnt really work for me well.
oh btw im using a mech Gus G16 if that makes any diffrence. And i run in the 1.1-1.4 ohm range
any tips? I cant seem to get vapor production like i see on youtube :/ taste is bomb diggity, just not a lot of vapor
And also i took apart a protank 2.2 ohms coil to see whats in there, and it has at least 6 or 7 wraps of very thin wire. Anyone know what kind of wire is being used in those? I get more vapor from protank/evod than my kayfun
