Question about RY4 juice

Hello,

I'm hoping some of you can give me an answer about some RY4 juice I bought.

I have vaped the prefilled cartos from a supplier and really like the flavor.

I decided to try buying just liquid and refill so I bought from a different supplier and it is horrible. It doesn't taste anything like the prefilled cartos. I mean nothing at all. Is that a common thing or should I be contacting the liquid supplier and asking if maybe they mixed it wrong?

Juices can and will taste different from supplier to supplier since the recipes and age change the flavor.

If it is really bad, I would contact the supplier and describe everything including the taste to them. They will know if their juice is that different or tastes similar to how you describe. They should offer to replace or refund if they are running a good business.

So far, I've only had RMV's RY4 and it's become my 2nd fav. As long as the price is right and they're in stock, I would prefer to buy it again from them just because I can be certain I'll get the same taste.

Thank you for responding. I suppose I should probably contact the supplier but I don't want to sound like I am insulting their product and I really can't even describe what it tastes like other than horrible and not at all what I expected based on what I already vaped.

Just remember they are there to service you. If they no longer have your service, then they lose a repeat customer. They would prefer you complain to them about one of their products and give them a chance to resolve the issue rather than you just start ordering somewhere else.

Chances are, if you speak up, they'll make you a satisfied customer as long as it is within reason. Be respectful and you'll almost always get the same in return.

Also, if you contact which ever supplier you got the original pre-filled carts from, they can probably tell you if they have the same recipe or at least where to get it.

Like I said above, don't be afraid to contact the supplier and ask about the juice from the pre-filled carts. Worst that can happen is they say they don't know.

Was the bottled stuff DeKang? Because I find that it varies in quality from batch to batch. A lot. And I suspect that some suppliers that offer insanely cheap DK juice are able to do so for a reason- like they're selling DK reject batches. Still completely safe of course, just mixed wrong.

I don't know how else to account for what is supposed to be the exact same juice, by the same manufacturer, tasting worse when purchased from a cheap supplier. Who knows.

But if you bought it from someone custom mixing their juice then I feel you have a responsibility to inform them- they may not be aware that their batch has come out wrong.

Also, FWIW, the cartos seem to have a higher quality of juice in them across the board... even though it too is made by DK.

Just to be clear I was talking about cartomizers (KR808) usually being higher quality juice, but that's just my opinion

Also, don't despair, you might get lucky with your order. Who did you order from?

You'll be fine then. I haven't ordered from them but they have an excellent rep on their juices. They're custom mixed, not DeKang and very popular. So you should be good.

There are two basic types of RY4 - Janty/Joye juice - which is very smokey and straight dekang - heaven gifts, eastmall, healthcabin and most other US vendors other than Janty, dietsmokes, the Widow and Freshsmoking.com (there may be others). Then you have everything in between and some people trying to duplicate one or the other on their own with varied degrees of success. Get one from Janty and one from HG to see the main difference. Both, despite the 'caramel' note are not that sweet.

Some people are turned off by the smokiness of the Janty RY flavors. To me, it comes off as a piney smokiness but to others it can be - and these are direct quotes: 'moldy basement' and 'fake bbq smoke crap'. But.... this is also an 'acquired' flavor - it wasn't my favorite at first but I wasn't fully offended by it. The guy that declared it moldy basement now has it as his 2nd favorite. My tendency was to first find something that was like what I smoked (d'uh ;-) and then moved to some of the sweeter flavors and then to the non-sweet - where I am now, with an occasional 'dessert vape'. And Janty's RY4 is always present in my #1 Janty Stick. I also like the ruyan#4 too and is my wife's top vape along with Hilton both from heaven gifts.

But I've tasted some 'homemade RY4' from some vendors that tastes like plastic and caramel. most diy can't get the smokiness going.

I did not like it! It was dark brown, and tasted like a strong Camel flavor with a too sweet carmel aftertaste. Very heavy and almost too much to vape. Too bad I bought 60ml.

If you change suppliers be sure to buy a small amount so you don't get stuck with something you don't like!

Same here on Stricklyejuice. 'Regular' RY4 is very light in color.

Once you taste a good RY4 or Ruyan#4, you won't be happy until you get your hands on a large bottle of it. I'm the same way with Flue Cured too. I can never figure out which I like better. Because I prefer the sweeter flavor, I've been buying mostly DK from Heaven Gifts or Health cabin. (round logo on the label). They're both $9/30ml. HG is giving away free lanyards and their new coffee flaver with every order until Christmas. For the cost of about 4 packs of Marlboros, you can get yourself a Christmas package I gaurantee you won't want to return.

I've tried quite a few. It would help if you named the suppliers but if you don't want to do that you could pm me and I might be able to match them up.
