question about sony vtc4

I had a sony vtc4 in a KTS+ with a igow4 and well I forgot to twist the button lock when I dropped it in my pocket (I hadnt used the kts in a while since getting my nemmy lol) problem is it fired, burnt up the cotton, and the mod got piss hot.

The battery however was cool as a cucumber. It had no visable damage to tje battery or heat shrink. I put it on charge and it charged like normal. So with that being said, is it ok to use?

Also, is it normal to see black lines or what not from underneath the green heat shrink?

Could do a voltage drop test and post result and coil resistance.
If voltage drop is normal batt likely good.
A pic of black lines would be nice.
My vtc4 has lines that run lengthwise.

Right I dont have what I need to test it. As of right now I charged it sunday night and it set off the charger all monday. I just installed it in the nemmy this morning (5 hours ago) and its still rocking like fresh on my kayfun 3.1 @.6 ohms.

If the battery didn't get too hot it should be OK. Do you know what voltage it was after you took it out, before you charged it?

Mine has black lines too....is that bad? Ive heard that dark blotches is a bad sign
