Hey guys,

I have a bottle of super steeped Strawnilla NZ (batch date 7/9/2014) that I just tried. It seems to have have the Strawberry aspect missing entirely. I compared it to my younger bottle of Strawnilla 3mg (batch date 12/9/14) and there is quite a difference. The younger one has the full vanilla strawberry flavor.

I dont know if the recipe was reworked between the two batches, if the NZ is a factor or if the steep time is to blame. Has anyone had any experience with either super steeped juice or NZ juice loosing a flavor component?

Thanks guys!!

Contact the lab with the batch number at contact@nicoticket.com and they can make sure it's all good.

Personally I found for me it was build and device specific. The strawberry never came out until I used a DNA40 device with Ni200 wire and BOOM there was the strawberry!

Now if I vape it a lot the strawberry disappears so I turn to another juice for a bit (a DIY mixup of a bunch of flavors, none fruit) and BOOM there is the strawberry again. Same thing happens with GCD (my ADV) if I hit Strawnilla for a bit then go back to GCD it is cinnamon goodness. I think our tongues develop what in perfumes is called scent blindness. So folks will be doused in perfume but never smell it on themselves while others smell it strongly. Same with vape as smell and taste are closely linked. My husband can smell the strawberry even when I can't taste it.

It's overused but taste really is subjective. Also it may take longer to steep. The new glass bottles don't steep the juices much, so if your 3mg batch was opened (essentially "aired out" longer) than the zeromg that could certainly make a difference. I would leave it uncapped overnight, recap, shake well and let it sit for a bit. Might help! Hope it does!!

Thank you! I tested them both in a 510 atty at the same wattage, on the iStick 20. They were both aired out overnight and steeped. I taste tested them side by side.

I dont have the order invoice for the older bottle. Would it still be an issue when contacting the lab?

I sometimes lose the Strawberry flavor. A couple toots of the virus then switch back and it's Strawberry time again.

I was vaping them side by side so its not vapor fatigue since I can definitely taste it on each draw from the new bottle and then lose the flavor when I take a hit from the older one. I was taste testing both of them using a regular 510 bridged atty, same wattage on my 2 istick 20w mods. The newer batch was full flavored but the older one just tastes funny. Very small amount of vanilla and no strawberry.

rhammer186, I notice the exact same thing with Strawnilla. I have a 15mL bottle from sometime last August and it is now an incredibly delicious vanilla vape, but no strawberry.

Thanks :) Thats interesting. Is it NZ or does it have a nic content? I'm trying to figure out what could be the causing the lose of flavor.

Did it have the Strawberry flavor when you first got it, or was it always more vanilla?

It was NZ! It definitely had strawberry when I first got it! I mean if you think about it though, we've aged this juice nearly a year. Some flavors might just not hold up as well as others. I think brighter tones like Strawberry would be the first to fade and Vanillas/Creams would be the ones to stick around.

Thanks Cullin. I appreciate your input. This is the first time I'm experiencing this with NT juice. My other juice always get better as they get older.

I'm going to email the lab anyways when I get home to see what they have to say. The strawberry in my other bottle which is only 5 months younger - 12/9/2014, is getting stronger and stronger with age. It seems that in the case of the this bottle- 7/9/2014, its the opposite and has a strange taste.

It could be, but I honestly have no idea if its high VG.

Thankfully this is the only one of my super steeped that has this issue. I have Frenilla, ACB and PBC reloaded all about the same age that are awesome when super steeped. This Strawnilla is different. Its too bad that its a waste of 50mls :(

Ill stick with the others and my other bottle of Strawnilla, Wokonda, Radioactive, Cucumber Mint, Home slice, Raz Cup, Mah Peeps, Passioncake, Sure Bert, and Betelgeuse that I have in my rotation...... ;)

That's what I was thinking too!

However, I loaded up a tank this morning from the same BOD. GS Air-M on a 30W Istick. I'm getting strawberry and vanilla. But, I only get strawberry at the 9-10W range. Over 10, all I get is vanilla. Strange!

If you're getting strawberry and vanilla from the same DOB then its not the steep time that is causing this problem.

I thought about trading it, but dont think its not fair since it tastes funny to me. Even the vanilla is a bit off. I wouldnt want someone to give me their good juice in exchange for this. I may just use it as a mixer or toss it.
