I find the cartomizer much easier. Some people prefer the taste of a atty/cart. I really don't notice enough difference and a carto holds much more juice and you have to fool with it less. I just fill up a few cartos and I'm good to go for the day.

I use the atty/carts to test flavors. In case I don't like the juice I don't want to waste a carto.

A cartomizer holds twice as much (if not more) liquid than a cartridge. That said I myself hate cartomizers - the flavor/hit from dripping and cartridges is MUCH nicer. That said, I bought some CE2 cartos (Fluxomizers revision 5) a few weeks ago that aren't bad at all but Liberty Flights doesn't sell those. But that's just me.

The thing is atomizers don't last forever and with the tanks you can have leaking problems so you also need extra tanks. The cartomizers are a cheap atomizer + cartridge in one that's cheap and works. Whatever system anyone uses, its good to have some cartomizers for back up. Personally I keep an atomizer and tank on one battery and a cartomizer on the other. I prefer my ego-t type a atomizer and tank but my girlfriend has killed 3 ego-t type a atomizers so she's down to using cartomizers for now. If I didn't have cartomizers for backups, she'd be using my atomizer and I'd have nothing.

Joye Ego (or Riva, Inferno, Tornado, etc... they're basically the same!) is an excellent recommendation for a first PV... I strongly, strongly suggest it for a variety of different reasons. Basically, it will keep you happier for longer. It works well right out of the box and also allows for a great deal of exploration as it will take any 510-threaded devices (atomizers, cartomizers, tank mods.... of all different resistances!)...

I just ordered a steel T-Rex with a cone yesterday, 1100Mah, just cause it's purdy LOL. I think the kit comes with carts but cartomizers or the tank attys will fit it. I plan to use it with the Boge cartos and a drip tip. They say you can peel the black off of the cartos and clean them to have an all steel looking setup. I'm awful glad I found this forum and didn't think they had to look like a tobacco cigarette.

Why yes, yes you can. The glue residue can be tricky to get off, though. So far a microfiber rag has worked best for me. I hesitate to use anything oily - WD40, peanut butter, etc because I don't want to somehow inadvertently vape the stuff. So if the glue is stubborn I use a drop or two of VG to help it off. Still tricky, but it helps.

You can put them in the fridge and it comes off a little easier. I buy the silver ones. Just got some on sale from Good Prophets. Several vendors have them in silver. You'll need a drip tip though because they get a little hotter without the paper.
