Question about the finish of stainless T-tip

Got my 901/510 stainless t-tip in the mail yesterday and when I pulled it out of the bag it seems to have a very dull almost brushed look. I checked with grimmgreen because in his video review his t-tip looks very shiny and polished, almost like chrome. He confirmed that his is very shiny and says he did no polishing and it came from the manufacturer that way. I was wondering what everyone else is getting, a shiny, chrome-like t-tip or a dull, brushed finish t-tip?

Mine came with a brushed look. I just used a little Mother polish and now it is chrome like. From what I understand all the Ttips come with a brushed finish. Some have asked for a different finish but it only takes about a minute to do this at home.

yeah, it's quick and easy to polish. I also noticed that the SS tips stay polished a LOT longer than the brass and even the aluminum body.

Not really a big deal I was just wondering. Just matches my PV better with a shiny finish. I have some Never-Dull wadding in the garage, that should throw a shine on it.

Most come with a finish I'd describe as more matte like, maybe semi glossy. Since machining can leave some imperfections, some worse then others, some of them needed to be buffed out, so a few have more shine then others.

A little mothers and a soft cloth wheel on your drill and you can have them looking like a mirror, though not everyone likes the super shiny finish. It all comes down to user preference.

I have a Silver Bullet that was soo shiney when I was driveing it would shine and reflect like a mirrior just too much as it would almost blind me in sunlight sometimes when driveing.So I sanded it down with either 600 or 400 emeory cloth/sandpapper can't remember then did not put a super buff/polish job on it. Much better and it did not show every fingerprint.

I used this stuff called Primo Polish. It cleans , refinishes,polishes & protects I have had this stuff for over 10 years and this stuff is awsome and works one every metal or alloy and jewlery. Use just a tiny bit apply with soft cloth rubbing it in a little let it dry then wipe it off with a soft cloth then buff.

Update:Tried a google search as the container is 1/2 full can't find it anywhere. Another person was searching can't find it also it's a shame this stuff works soo awsome.

I use NevrDull and Noxon.... Both can be purchased at many ACE hardware stores and they work great!!!!

The Noxon is a bit messy and I use it about one a week... The NevrDull is awesome and I use it every night for a quick wipe down of the device(s)....

My first T-Tip had the matte finish...when I order my second one I asked David to polish it to a shiny finish and he did. It looks like chrome. I sometimes switch between a HV and standard atomizer, so I use the shiny T-Tip on my HV and the matte on my regular, just so I know which is which. They do have different numbers on them, the atomizers that is, but they are hard for me to read. Simpler this way.

i actually like the matte look. And I love the T-tips... it's the perfect combination with dripping.... no more pulling out the carts to drip... I wouldn't care if they came with a pink ribbon painted to it... there simply awesome.

I got the brass right before the Stainless Steel came out. I Ordered them with my Super 6 and with black attomizer with the wide brass/gold band at the bottom it matches the wide band and looks soo good. Like a dummy I opted for the aluminum switch & adapters on my
Super 6 . I did not really care about looks at first but now I have it and the tips and atty look so good ....I have to upgrade to the brass switch and adapter to finish. I havent took the tip off or used a cart sense my S6 was delivered

Love the brass look....And i know, you will love it too....It just makes it look nicer....Just My 2 Cents Worth......
