Hey there, and TIA for your help.

I was going through the "Ask the veterans" subforum in order to find information on 306s (due to all the hype, I am going to try them out)

I saw this posted in http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ask-veterans/139382-best-th-0-nic.html and I was confused. I am interpreting it as "the cisco lr 306 reduces nic intake/content on the inhale" (if that makes any sense)

"I was a 20 a day smoker for over 40 years, and so far have never vaped higher than 18mg at 3.7v, which would go down to 11mg if using the Cisco atty."

Yeah, confusing huh. What Pet meant is that since you tend to use more liquid when dripping (consumption rises as every draw is accessing the max liquid possible, there is no shortage due to poor wicking), and as you get the max hit per draw, the end result is that you take in more nic. To counteract that, some people reduce the nic strength of their liquids otherwise they get too much. It has nothing to do with a 306 itself, except that the 306 works well, so all those factors are maxed out.

You have to be careful when dripping though because it is easier to blow an atty or shorten its life than with other methods. The problem is that dripping enough can cause leakage, so people drip less, and then the atty gets too hot. Ideally some sort of bund is needed (a container wall like they have around oil storage tanks so that leaks are contained). An eGo cone is ideal, also the re-uptake well in a Super-T, or the bund on a Reo. That way you can drip enough, without worrying about leaks.

Another option is a Boge soft cap carto with a driptip inserted instead of the cap, those cartos don't leak unless overfilled. It's not really a full 'atty drip' hit though, but it's the best way to use those cartos.
