Question about titan-510/mega, and 901-510 adaptors!!!

Ok,
First of all I have the 510 titan and the screwdriver. I am not too happy about the 901 atty.. So, I have ordered a 901 to 510 adapter and plan to use my titan 510 atty on the SD. My question is... I am in need of ordering more 510 atties and are the mega atties of the same thread as the regulars. If they are, I would rather go the mega route but if they are not the same thread... I believe I would rather stick with the regular atties because I would have atties compatible with both battery set-ups that I already have.

Thanks for the knowledge that any of you may have to shed some light on whether the mega has the same threading as the regular 510 .. and If it will thread into a 901 to 510 adapter. Just for added info.. I ordered the sealed adapter so that the original breather holes of the atty will do the job.

The 510 mega Atty's are the Same thread as the Regular 510 Atty's.... But the Regular 510/901 Carts won't fit on the Mega 510 Atty - You need The Mega 510 Cart to fit on the Mega 510 Atty ... Since the Diameter increases towards the top of the 510 Mega Atty. So a 901 Cart won't fit on the Mega Atty Either.

I use a 901 to 510 adapter on my SD with the Mega Attys and it works beautifully! Ken is correct. You need to order the Mega Carts if you want to use the Mega Attys. The regular 510 carts will be far too small.

The SD with the 510 Mega Carts and Mega Attys works a charm!
