Is tobacco that is naturally extracted for juice making dangerous to vape? I was wondering if tobacco by itself contained cancer causing agents. Just started using burley & candy from the plume room and wanted to ask about it.

Thanks

Tobacco is at it's deadliest when burned, although inhaling any kind of smoke is very unhealthy. Tobacco by itself does contain some known carcinogens pre-combustion (as does coffee, vegetables, and many other things we consume). Whether any of those carcinogens make it through the extration process, I haven't a clue. The levels the known carcinogens in tobacco pre-combustion is low enough that for me it's not a concern, as I also don't worry about drinking coffee and eating peas.

My un-professional, best guess is that extracted tobacco as a flavoring deserves the same level of concern as any other synthetic or natural flavorings that we vaporize and inhale. To me, the level is little to no concern, but fully understand if others feel differently. The safest possible way to vape is to use no-nic, unflavored pg and/or vg, which is an option, but not one I've considered.
