1. Can't seem to find this info but what are the tubing and end caps on the VVPV made of?

Looking for a new upgrade and thinking about placing an order for the VVPV (finally destroyed my OG Buzz) but I seem to have a tendency to like juices that melt clearos and etch plastic bottles.

2. Can somebody recommend me where/which batteries to get for the VVPV? I'm reading the ones that ship w/ the VVPV aren't the most ideal.

3. Should I get a few 2 cent fuses or is the protection circuitry enough? Amp limit (my OG Buzz was one of the ones with the low cut off so I had to switch out dual coil with it and would like to give DC's a try again)?

4. The drip tip adapter on the website looks to be made of plastic but a few pics from members seem to have metal ones. Is the metal adapter a mod? Any info would be great.

5. I have the old dripper kit that I used with the Buzz, can I use that or do I need a new cap for it to work with the VVPV?

6. Is the connector sealed? I'm a bit confused why everybody wants sealed connectors if the connection from the VVPV is already sealed. I want to keep the mod short as possible.

7. Also any pics of people using tanks (without the pump system)? I have a few tanks I still like using for certain juices but would like to see how it would look.

8. Recommended atties? LR/SR/HV? Currently on my last 510 HH357 but might go back to 901's (I miss them).

9. Does the kit still come with the screwdriver?

10. Where are people finding those glass donut tips? The pic of the VVPV w/ it makes me drool.

Thanks all and sorry for all the questions.

1) My end caps are brass - the other ones are chrome (not sure what metal the chrome is on, but probably brass because I think it would be easier for the machinist to make them all out of one material). The tubing is a silicone tube like you'd find for a fish tank pump. there are a few different chemistries of that type of tubing and I don't know exactly which one notcigs uses, but they are all very similar.

2) I went with AW IC Li-on batts for mine. The trustfires it ships with are pretty good batts, though. If you go with the AW Li-On IC batts, you'll need to slightly modify the last loop in the battery spring farthest away from the juice compartment, but it only takes a second to do it with a needle nosed plier. Lots of places carry them, but this guy is a stand up guy and a reliable vendor. Other good vendors like super-t have them too.

3) The 2 cent fuse won't fit in a VVPV - and is unnecessary. The built in protection has never had a reported failure in a notcigs device. The amp limit on the new BPs, IPs, and the VVPV is 3.33 amps so you can fire a 1.5 ohm DC at 5.0v reliably. --- Mentionable: Though you *can* use a carto on a VVPV, I'm not sure why you would. It's a top feeder and provides excellent feed control, so a good atty is the better choice.

4) The drip tip adapter is delrin. The picture you saw was MWA's and I've always assumed he got a beta unit while it was still in the design phase. The production adapters are delrin.

5) I'm not sure about this one, so I have to ask you a question: Does your dripper have a black button or a white one? --- A white one will work, but looks a little funny (and I've seen a white one in the review unit LordDavon video reviewed a while back).

6) Since you had a BP, you've seen how the connector is. If the insulator is in good shape and the screw tight, the connector is sealed. If the screw is a little loose, it isn't. I have run mine both with and without a 510/510 adapter, but I decided to just go ahead and use one all the time. I don't really have a recommendation about that since a drip shield fits perfectly without the adpater.... it's a personal preference sort of thing, I guess and my decision has a lot to do with my habit of using 510/510 on a bunch of my mods to save wear and tear on the native threads.

7) Buried somewhere deep in the VVPV Design and Talk thread from sometime in February, Buzzkill posted a couple of pics of a VVPV with an M1A1 tank on it. I don't have a link handy.

8) I use a 2.0 ohm regular length hh.357 on my VVPV exclusively. It's like they are made for each other. If i were to quit using hh.357's for any reason ever, I would go with the ikenvape i06. I'm not too familiar with 901s having only borrowed a 901 device for a couple of weeks one time about 8 months ago. I'm a 510 vaper.

9) My VVPV shipped with a torx kit with 6 different torx drivers in the box. I have no idea if new units are still shipping with a torx kit. The right torx driver is the #5.

10) This thread is insanely long and crazy busy... but that's where you get the information. I urge you to pay close attention to the list of vendors trippy uses. I received two glass donuts from a vendor today and it turns out they are not trippy's and it also turns out they don't fit my 510 attys worth a hoot either. When you get a glass donut, make double-sure it's a trippy.

I hope some of that helps ;)

Six covered things really well.

What i did was go with a 901 top, then put on a sealed 901/510 (i sealed it myself, jb weld, the actual top stays totally dry). This is fundamentally a drip/feed device, though normal cartos or tanks work with it. If you use filler cartos, you can use the top feed to keep them topped off. Best i can tell the 901 & 901/510 ends up about the same total height as a native 510 cap, and drip shield works fine over the adapter. Sealed really does matter if you are using this for top feed on an atty.

Drip Shields likewise matter. I like io6 atties, so use a grateful vaper sleeve plus an empire drip shield. I added a second oring at the bottom of the empire, removed the inside top one, to get truly leak free and the air flow i wanted.

The vvpv adapter is delrin. If you use io6 & gv sleeve, it is possible to punch the sleeve for the feed tube if you want to skip the adapter, though i don't bother. (else ask wharfrat if he could do it for you as part of the order). I picked up a hub that is the right size for nick's sleeves just to be able to punch them myself, but that was more about finding which size to use, personal interest :)

Thank you Six and Mark! Here's the pic that was posted of the VVPV with the M1A1 tank.

Thanks all for the input and the picture!

1. So no issues with the plastic tubing/drip tip melting? Sorry, just having a field day w/ my new juices. They love making a mess of plastics.

5. I have the old white ones? The ones from the reviews look like mine with a black thing glues on top.

Off to read like 150 pages of stuff.
