Question about USB Passthrough for 901

Hi,

I've had my passthrough for over a month now and it worked great until last night. I noticed that the battery end of the passthrough got real hot and then the automizer got real hot, I pulled the cart off to look at the automizer and it looked like it was on fire. So I disconnected the usb passthrough from the computer, let it cool for a while then tried it again and the same thing happened.

This morning I tried a different automizer with it at my work computer and it's doing the same thing, so obviously it's the usb passthrough, does this mean the automatic switch is stuck on? Is there anything that anyone knows to do to fix this or should I just throw this away now? I'm not the most technically inclined person, so don't know about pulling the thing apart.

Your probably best to just get another one. The switch is more than likely the problem or possibly a short inside. I had the same problem recently and it was the switch.

that's what I thought, but was hoping maybe someone had a way to fix it easily, but that was a long shot.

Get some of this at an auto parts store and spray it into the hole. It will clean out the switch inside if that's what the problem is.

we own a body shop (which I'm at right now) so I'll have to see if we have any lying around the shop, or just run out to the auto store and see if I can't find it there.
