I just got a usb wall charger and when I plug my ego fast usb charger into it the led on the charger cable that is normally red when battery is charging, green when charged is like flashing red and green really fast. When use the original wall charger its back to normal red or green. Is this a bad wall unit and if I use it will it hurt my battery? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a bad charger, could cause problems. The red/green flash is a test the thing makes to see if it should stop charging. Mine will do the checking every two/three minutes - a quick green then return to red for another 2/3 minutes. As the battery reaches a complet charge, it will flash faster in the sequence and turn solid green when done.
Is it a possible loose connection? Did you screw the charger to the battery as tight as it goes? Mine flashed from green to red once and it only happened at a certain point.. when I hand tightened it all the way, it turned solid red.
Yes the battery is tight, its almost like the red and green are flashing at the same time. My old wall charger does blink green when it is charging like you said but this isn't that. Thanks for the responses.
