Question about using eGo with KR808D1 cartomizers...Need some help

I have an KR808D1, and am looking to purchase an eGo/mega eGo for a change of pace since I've read such good things about them here.

I'm hoping some of you out there may have some experience using KR808d1 cartomizers (with 510 to D1 adaptor - from what I have read) with your eGo. I'm getting ready to place an order, but have some concerns/questions that I hope you all can help with, before I click the check out button...

My questions are:
1. Does the eGo perform well with the 808 cartos in your experience?
2. Will the cone that comes with the eGo fit over the adaptor + 808 carto?
3. If you've tried this combo, do you find it gives you more/less vapor production?
4. Does this combo release hotter or cooler vapor compared to the kr8?

I have a Riva and it is threaded so that the KR808 Cartos fit on so that I don't need an adapter. The Riva has a shorter cone so that it accommodates the cartos. I have found that the vapor is very good when I use the two together. As far as hotter or cooler I would say cooler. Hope that helps a little.

It will work fine.The only differences are battery life improves and voltage is lowered.The Kr8 is 3.7 and the Ego is like 3.2.

I just got myself an 808 atty (not carto), and it works quite well with the eGo battery, with the exception of the cone (as spirit3250 points out). Just to be silly, I turned the cone upside-down on the adapter...aesthetically it made it look like a ball-point lava lamp...hehehe.

Besides the appearance being somewhat off, the atty (and I assume the carto) works just great with the eGo batts...I'm sure you will find it to your liking.
