The package arrived on friday 11/18/2010. That's about as fast as it gets where I live.
I am comparing all of these with the my original Coolcart cartomizers from vapor4life on a manual XLVL4 battery. I have found that some of these cartomizers get a burning taste before the first refill. Most of them were ok and all seem to work well after a washing. I also have a XPower 900 which is like the ego with a different
thread. I like it for some of the more complex flavors like Applewood tobaco and Malty Tofee. Generally I favor the kr808. I have only been
vaping for about 6 weeks and keep in mind that taste is very subjective.
I am
vaping all of the cartos with Backwoods cherry. 12mg 70/30.
Below is my order and my opinions..
808D-1 E2R4 silver soft cap@ 2.8-3.0 ohms
These were 1 3/8 inches slightly shorter that the Coolcarts. They had a vertical coil. Filled them the same way as the 510 E2R4.
Good smoke and flavor not as much hit but definitely there. Warmer and fuller flavor than the Coolcarts maybe a bit to strong and sweet for me. I like the Coolcarts better.
Premium 808d-1 soft cap 1 27/64
Seemed about the same taste hit and flavor as the E2R4 silver but easier to fill. The pemium and seemed to bring out the backgroud flavors of the juice as much as the cherry flavor. The cherry flavor was more muted and not as sharp as in the Coolcarts. Not unpleasant but I am using this juice for the cherry flavor.
BOGE 808d-1 hard cap Cartomizers.

These had an off taste to them so washed before using. I also destroyed the caps trying to remove them and replaced with soft caps. This one also had a bit less cherry flavor but better than the other two. I could use this one if it lasts longer than the coolcarts.
808D-1 to 510 Adapter. The adapter works well.
Joye 510 E2R4 soft cap @ 2.5-2.6 ohms Royal Smokers Horizontal coil wrapped around the wick
To fill I removed the soft cap and the two inside. Then dripped juice down the sides. I didn't measure how much they hold but these are long carts, 2 1/32 inches. The Coolcarts are about 1 27/64". Both close to the same diameter 3/8 inches. . I should add that when I removed the soft cap they had a slight oder inside so I washed them before using. I also destroyed one of these when I caught the coil on the paper clip while trying to pull out the second spacer inside the cartomizer.
So far these are the only ones that I liked as much as the original Coolcarts and it holds more juice.
