Question for menthol smokers

Do you find you like other flavors? I can not smoke non menthol analogs, so obviously with my 1st order I am getting some menthol carts and menthol juice. But do you, as a former menthol analog smoker, find other flavors enjoyable, or do you need the menthol, as with analogs? I plan on ordering menthol and some of the CaSh Cola everyone is raving about.

I actually like the other flavors better than the menthol because the menthol just doesnt do it for me like my menthol cigs did. I do have the menthol carts and some menthol liquid but I end up using riskee or vanilla most of the time. (I smoked menthol for over 20 years.)

I was a Newport smoker for 15yrs. I've been using Totally Wicked and Kick menthol. TW was 36mg (xtra high), the Kick e-liquid I'm not so sure what the nic content was. Both taste ok on their own but I found the 36mg to strong so I mixed the TW with the KicK which changed the menthol flavor to a not so shabby milder taste. In any case I'm now ready to start experimenting with some other flavors, I put my order in for Vanilla Ice Cream and a sample kit from Johnson Creek. I'm pretty sure I'll be adding menthol to the Vanilla.

I love menthol, and yesterday experimented with Janty cherry and a small menthol crystal mixed together. It was gorgeous!

I'm not keen on any flavour at least mixed with menthol. The crystals are a blessing!

I generally just drop some (sparingly) into a bottle of e-liquid and let them dissolve

I am only just starting my second week e-smoking. I find that the non menthol flavors are really good, but I have trouble inhaling them without coughing alot (just like real cigs). I am now expirmenting with mixing and matching other flavors with the menthol to see what works. The cash menthol has a VERY strong menthol flavor, so I need to cut it anyway. Right now im mixing cash marlboro, cash menthol, cash bannana, and jc mint together. I have also noticed that if I smoke a regular cig and then e-smoke, it makes me cough also.

I smoked Kool Milds for over 35 years and thought I wouldn't like anything but menthol also. After E-smoking for about a month now I've found that I do enjoy other flavors also. I still like the menthol flavors and they are what I primarily smoke, but got a sample pack from Puresmoker and also a 30ml bottle of Riskee Yuice and a 10ml bottle of Cash Cola. I love the Riskee Yuice but I find that the Cola just tastes like stale Coke to me and is not that enjoyable. From the sample pack my second favorite is the coconut. I also enjoy the Marlboro Special Blend. I didn't think I would like it but it is a very nice smoke for a change. The other flavors in the sample pack are just OK to me except the France Pipe which I cannot stand.

The best thing I can tell you is to just experiment with the flavors that you normally like and try them out. I look forward to trying Banana next.

I just got my first e-cig today from ecigtech; a DSE901 mini. I ordered cartridges HIGH Menthol, because I smoke 2.5 packs/per day of Misty Menthol Lights. I am really pleased with the draw, and amount of "smoke" but the menthol just wasn't there at all. Also I guess I actually smoke less than I thought, because I have a headache and am rather jittery tonight. I think I should step down the nicotine level, but where can I get that menthol "hit" I need?

Try the Janty Abandon Mint, by far the best mint I've tried and the closest thing to a menthol if you mix it with regular tobacco flavor, 555 is my choice.

Menthol is a tough one to replicate as it is more then just a flavor per se. Try Puresmoker's menthol as so many of the posts state that it is the closest they have found rather then a "mint" taste. If you where smoking Misty--drop down a notch or switch on and of with no nic and nic. Hope that helps.

i smoked newport lights before going to the kentucky select menthol roll your owns could not stand non-menthol.
i have however found the flavors enjoyable better than any of the menthols i have tried,althou the menthol mixed with coffe is pretty good

I'm with Space - I have yet to find any flavor that satisfies me without at least first adding some menthol crystal to it.

But then again, over my many years struggle with my addiction to cigarettes, I've known, or at least believed, that I'm just as addicted to the menthol as I am to the nicotine.

I smoked menthols for the better part of 13 years from newports to marlboro menthol lights. The biggest part for me was that I really didn't like the taste of non menthol cigs and only bought them when the store was out of my normal smokes.

I started vaping with menthol, marlboro, and cola. The cola was gone first I've got more e-liquid than I care to admit, but the menthol and the marlboro sit while other bottles are used reguarly.

I'd say it depends on the person, and why you liked menthols as to what you will enjoy to vape the most.
