Question for modders

Hey guys still a new member so I have to post here and I cant upload pics...but I have a tiny problem. I was making a little battery box for my 801, I got everything done, almost. Here's the problem: pretend you are looking down at the top of an 801 battery....see it...great. Now, look at that center part, the one inside the rubber gasket(?) that touches the atomizer when you screw them together. I took it out, attached the wire, even used a soldering gun and everything, felt very proud of myself. Now I can't get the damn thing back in. I have tried everything, the gasket just wads up and wont go through the hole. I have pushed, pulled, poked, prodded, begged, pleaded, prayed and cussed nothing works. I am afraid if I keep deviling it im going to shred it. I know you guys have some magic trick. Please tell.

I've never taken a battery apart so I'm not sure what it looks like but I think I know what you mean. Try putting a little bit of grease on the rubber gasket and work it back in with a small blunt little screwdriver or something.

LOL... I should have realized you guys would have more experience with a problem like this than me...I'm off to find some vaseline. Hope the thing aint made of latex. Thanks for the help.
