I have been playing guitar for 30+ years.I see clapton coils are starting to really get popular.Can you use an actual guitar string to make coils??

The nickel used in vaping is ni200.

Plus guitar strings often have a coating.

And I bet the resistance would be very low.

if you dont want to make clapton wire yourself you can get it already done

pre cut lengths or on a spool

just do a search

Yeah, I don't think I'd try it. Wrong metal and even if it wasn't you'd want to anneal it before you tried winding coils with a guitar string. Besides, Clapton wire is cheaper than guitar strings anyway
