I bought my 650mah 510 Ego for about $40 with two of everything in the kit. Right now with the Ego C being so new it is running $80 at the best price I have seen so far. How long do one of these new release models need to be on the market before the prices start coming down a little. If I could find the new C - model for around $50 or $60 I would jump on it, but I am not having a problem with my current setup so cannot justify switching. Any idea on how long the wait might be???:vapor:

I agree: your first priority should be to get more batteries. You can never be too thin or too rich, neither can you ever have enough backups, especially batteries!

What is it about the eGo-C starter kit that you particularly want? The flashing light when the battery gets below 20% charge? Or the tank/atty deal?

If it's the flashing light, that feature will take awhile before prices drop.

If it's the tank/atty deal, then you can get those separately and for a lot less than investing in a kit. You can use those on your eGo 650 mAh batteries. The eGo-C is approximated by the eGo-T type A. (The eGo-T type A tank/atty, though, doesn't have that natty removable/adjustable atty head feature.) If you haven't tried an eGo-T tank, you might want to do that first, before investing in an eGo-C setup. Lots of folks have trouble with eGo-T tanks.

That is one of the reasons for the question. I have been using this original kit for almost 4 months now with the original 2 batts and original 2 attys that came with it. I figure it is about time for me to at the very least pick up some more atty's before these die. I clean them once a week (steam clean) on different days of course, but I know they have to be getting close to the end by now and I do not want to be caught off guard. I always figured when one went out I would buy another. The two batts seem to be enough.

A charge last me about 6 - 8 hours so I start with a fresh one in the morning - change mid after noon and I have a few hours while on the second one to give me time to get to the charger before the next one goes out. Tight budgets make me watch my spending sprees - also what I have is working and am not looking for a new hobby - just want to stay off of analogs...

Its the tank atty deal that I am interested in. I have actually thought about buying those alone (I saw a kit at Cignot) and buying another $40 set of what I have now (some more 650mah batts), but if I really like the changeable / smaller atty's then the two atty's that would come with the set would sit a lot - I guess I could save them as backups in case the smaller atts burn out faster than these have. I want something that holds about 1ml - for me that is enough. I usually vape two - three flavors a day so 1ml tanks are perfect for me. Do not want a 5ml tank because it would sit around for days before I would get through it...
