i'm overdosing on nic right now trying to find a right build for an aqua v2 1:1 clone. at first, i was keep getting dry hit. i had to do prime puff to get a good vape. then i figured out how to wick it. now no dry hit, and no leak. but the flavor is weird.

i using max vg in this thing. teleos alpha. maybe i should go with 50/50. but i heard 90% vg should work on this rta. the aqua v2 is on nemesis. it's at .9 ohm. same juice on .5 ohm rda tastes great. sharp defined flavor that is very enjoyable.

what am i doing wrong? should i build lower resistant coil?

I've got mine built with dual 28g coils at .7ohms and running Max VG juice. If you're getting dry hits, you've probably got a bit too much wick in the channels that restricting your juice from making it to the coils.

I use Rayon for my wicks and I cut them at an angle to the top so that it leaves a little taper towards the bottom. Then I thin down the wicks until there's just enough to actually sit in the juice channels.
