Didn't know if this should go in a specific area, or if this is a generic question. I've never been a carto guy. I'm a 2.0ohm atty guy from cisco or Ike, but I just learned about dual coils, and I figured i'd give it a try for a while.
Anyway, I bought a few of the eGo mega dual coil carto's, and I bought a few of the Dual Coil Clear Colossal carto's (clear) so i can actually see what i'm doing here : )
I've never filled a carto in my life so I'm definiately a n00b at carto's and i've been vaping for 3 years.
I heard nothing but good things about the ego Mega Dual coils.
Anyway, now that these carto's don't need the syringe fill method, you can just pop the top, tilt to side, and start dripping away. (on the clear one i'll be able to see, the colossal which I'm hoping someone here will tell me if they suck or not), but on the ego Mega dual coil, should I just put about 30 drops in and shake it around a bit and see if starts to hit well? Or do you guys let those carto's sit overnight? In otherwords, can you fill and start using right away? or do you need to let it saturate?
I found an LR standard carto the other day, and i'm using the tilt and drip method now...it doesnt have the 2 olds glued in, it just has the center post, and it has the filler around it, so i'm dripping and dripping but i'm worried i might over do it. I shook it around and then took a few hits, and i got very little vapor, and no taste. Should i drip more into it? or do i need to let it saturday longer?
I think that is why people like the ceramic carto's more because it's just a wick, and then the liquid is just sitting in the container, with no need to worry about filler.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, also cleaning the mega dual coil ideas would be great too.
There is so much to learn about eCig's it's crazy. I've had every mod known to man, and used every atty known to mad, but have no idea about Cartos. And i'm sure it goes the other way around too, people that started on carto's, never went to attys and had no need to learn about them
If any of you can see my questions in between all the ramblings and help me out, that would be great
Thanks again ECF crew.
