I recently picked up a disposable Blu E-Cig to give it a shot, and it's nice, just not giving me what i'm used to. I'm new here, and i'll give you some information about me and I am hoping someone can point me to the right brand.

I smoke 1-2 packs a day, prefer big heavy hits on my cigarettes. I do chain smoke, more often than i should.

I really want to switch to E-cigs, so i won't have to suffer from the drawbacks and bad things associated with smoking normal cigarettes.

Welcome & congratulations on wanting to make some healthier choices!

There are people with a lot of experience who can give you the best recommendations for hardware (I wouldn't recognize a Blue if it bit me in the behind ...), however my 2 cents is that a newcomer couldn't go too far wrong with an Ego twist or Vision spinner and some mini viva nova clearomizers - and of course an assortment of juices (you might want to consider a couple of different strengths). The adequacy of the equipment you get (plus finding a juice you like) will make a big difference in how satisfying you find vaping to be as an alternative.

This place is very helpful, so some of the experienced members will undoubtedly offer suggestions soon ... if it contradicts anything I've said go with the voice of experience!

Hi and welcome! You made a good choice to switch to vaping :toast:

Tell us a little more about yourself, so we might give you helpful recommendations. Like how much you plan to spend? You said you were a heavy smoker, but what's your day like? Can you only smoke on breaks? Do you need a small device or maybe something small for when you go out and bigger at home? Do you like to fiddle around with taking things apart? These sorts of things.

My first e-cig was the Blu also. I knew immediately that I could quit cigarettes and go e-cig. Within 2 days I found a local tobacco store and purchased the Choice 7's kit. E Cigarettes By Choice 7's I still like the strong tobacco flavor and personally like the 7's version. Their tobacco flavor is not bad at all and I have bought another 30ml bottle of their juice yesterday. Though I will not stay with the 7's brand hardware I will use the batteries until they die. My first step up was to using an eGo 900Mah battery with a Vivi Nova clearomizer (liquid tank). I have also been trying several flavors from local Atlanta suppliers. = Vaperite Home and Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids.

The problem you will discover with the disposible brands is that they are proprietary and you usually will require using their available options. Look into one of the listed suppliers here on the ECF and you will not do wrong. If there are any local vaping stores in your area, consult them and they should be able to answer your questions and demonstrate available options.

Welcome to the forums and I hope that you will make the transistion to e-cigs.
