Question on filling MEGA tornado/ego cartomizers

I saw a bunch of videos on youtube of people having to remove 2 little caps with a paper clip, and then filling it with a syringe through a tiny little hole.

Is this the only way to fill these? It seems like a huge hassle... I've waiting for mine to come in the mail and I'm just wondering if I have to buy a syringe too since I dont have one.

I too have this problem. I use the VG and none of the needles that I have would draw it. I saw a video, where the person popped the top of his e-juice and slid the bottom of the cart over it and turned it upside down. Give a little squeeze on the bottle. When full, turn it back right side up so the excess drains back into your bottle. So far this is how I have been filling mine and it works. Just make sure that the bottle opening is small enough to slide into the cart. I am waiting on my 18 gauge needle to come in. I went to some local pharmacy's asking for the larger needles and they looked at me like I was a crack addict...LOL. I even explained and showed them what I needed it for...yet no avail. I was told that they do not carry them....insulin needles and 20 gauges are the standard. Hope this helps.

You can get larger gauge needles at livestock feed and grain stores.

It's what they use to give horses/cows shots when needed.

I don't have experience with the specific cartos you are speaking about, just the Boge 510LR.
I watched a video on the "condom" method and that's what I am using now....soooo easy.

I have done both syringe and direct drip onto the atty connection (fill through the tiny hole there until it stops soaking up the drops). I drip filled and used the little part of the rubber stopper the first time b/c I had no syringe. This method worked fine, and I used this method to refill that carto several times. Then, I got a syringe. I figured I would get more liquid in the filler the first time. I had a difficult time drawing the liquid, AND, the larger needle would not fit to reach the filler part. What a pain! I went back to the drip fill method, and it works. I don't bother with cartos anymore since I got my Leo and a Vapemate to use with my P16. Good luck!

I use the syringe method. Takes a few refills to get used to it, but not really difficult doing it by the videos. I re-fill three in a minute or two and most of that time is for 'soaking' into the poly.
