Question on flavor from 510 cart

I just got my 510 today, and I absolutely love it! My only gripe is that it came with purple LEDs.. but I cant palm it no problem when I'm in public. haha

Question is though.. after I blew out the atty and reprimed and everything, whenever I use the stock carts with MLB-MED flavor, these things taste like ..... Very strong plastic taste. I don't get that taste with dripping, and never experianced it with my M40x..

Am I tasting the filling material, or am I just super sensative to the MBL flavor? I didnt modify the carts at all, and i notice the bridge of the atty has put an indent into the filling material.

I hate wasting fluid, but should I try to clean the filler and add my own to it? If its the filler making the taste I'd hate to lose that much fluid recleaning the cart.

For the LED's, you can order different batt's with other colors.

As for the plastic taste, make sure the cart is not melting, and check the cart alignment with the atty. There are a few posts with pics to show if you need.

The carts that came with my starter kit tasted a bit strange at first, but it went away after like a day of use. I've been just ordering blank carts now and those don't mess with the flavors at all.
