When vaping my 510 earlier today and a couple times before, I will get a little bit of a bad taste. When going to open the cart, the cart filler pulls right out of the cart and stays attached to the atty. Im pretty sure Im doing something incorrectly. What is it? How far from the edge of the cart should the filler be? Is the filler burning, causing the bad taste?

Typically you want the filler a bit recessed from the edge of the cartridge.... perhaps 1/32" or so.
But... for sure you want to make sure that you are not twisting the cartridge to put it on or take it off. That is what usually causes the filler to stick to the bridge.

If you get little strands of filler stuck on the atomizer bridge they can cause a bad taste.
You need to pull off any such little strands with tweezers.
To avoid these problems NEVER twist the cartridge once it is attached to the atomizer.
