There is a member here on the ECF that goes by the name Fazed. He would be the guy to talk to about this. It seems he's pretty heavy into the modding side of things, and I'm sure he could give you some great pointers. Good luck!

I found him, but it appears i can't post in any other thread than this, or PM anyone yet... My low post-count inhibit that. Not sure what to do? Can someone "ping" Fazed for me? :D

Assuming you have the lambo from L-Rider (red power button) and not the vari-tube from young june (all silver buttons), the top cap is not press fit in. It is screwed on. The 1st runs of these (like what I have) thread apart easily. The newer ones may have some thread lock on them to discourage the disassembly. Not sure. Either way, it will twist off. If its thread locked, you may need a gripper pad (like the rubber pads used to open stubborn canning jars) to get enough grip. Once you do get it off, be careful not to lose the little silicone seal that surrounds the floating pin.

Hope this helps, and if you have any further questions, ask away!

Matt

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer!

Here's an image of the LT. Bought in Philippines, unbranded, no idea of the origin. What is your best guess, considering the attached image, thread or pressed? I really don't want to kill it :D

Oh. You have an original LT. Not a lambo. Big difference. That's an easy one. Take a small screwdriver, carefully stick it in the hole, and gently pry it up in a circumferential pattern till it pops off. Just be careful no to use the circuit board as a fulcrum because it will damage it. Take you time and it should pop right off.

drewbalicious said you're to go-to-guy, and he were certainly right. Thanks to both of you!

Will report back when i fixed it, or to report another contribution to the mighty smokey mountain :D
