question on the GGTS

The GGTS is on my list of very near future purchases but i am confused i think , looking on the website
the GGTS is $158.50 and the avs with mouthpeice is $78.50 for a total of 237.00.

but i see several other people selling this combo for 250.00 used, am i missing something or is there something more i need for this unit that im not figuring in???

i am asking here so that i do not interfere with peoples classifieds but really need to know so i know how much more i need to save to buy this awesome pv.

Two things that might help it make sense-
used combos often sell for 250 or so shipped

Availability often means that the ONLY way to get one is used, and that can jack the price up a little bit more.

I paid just a bit more for my backup unit a short while ago, and no regrets.

ok i see, vapor kings offers free shipping after 99.00 dollars so that isnt an issue but i didn't think about availablitity that makes a little more sence then.

classys will often include the batteries, charger, an atty or two, and possible extension tube, magnet switch, and/or metal mouthpiece upgrades. on top of this some people like a particular # or feel a particular # is more or less valuable, and then there's the availability from registered suppliers at the time the unit is up for sale in the classys, etc.

Shawn if your referring to the 2 I just sold both where basically NEW, One had the extra Chrome center sleeve about $36 so your up to $272 right there or so on VK Site, also had the chrome smooth lock ring and the new one I just received yesterday had some custom stuff on it as well, both where easy $250 if you add up the extras I had on them and some, I also thew in some free Batts, extra Atty connectors and xtra O rings, this is why they where the price they where, I hope this help you out. I also sold GGTS #9 Last week for much much more

Yeah, I agree with the above...

Often, People may include some accessories like a Stainless steel mouthpiece, or adapters, or whatever...and that all jacks up the price... plus... Sometimes the demand is so great, and there is no new ones in stock that people can get a few extra bucks for a used one...

Well since I was the lucky one to jump on Matt's classified I'll chime in. Seeing that the GGTS is currently not in stock (which is more often than not), and also the quality and care that most owners put into taking care of their GG "lot," I was confident that I was getting mint condition products. With the aforementioned stated I was willing to pay a little premium for that instant gratification of being proud owner of a GGTS now instead of waiting for them to be in stock. Plus it was only $30 more and Matt was very generous with the extras, which I greatly appreciated. I definitely have no regrets with my purchase.

BTW I'm pumped to be in the GG club. Thanks for making it happen Matt.

Another thing the original price on some of the older GGTS was $250.00 right off that batt... And then add all the options that go with it ...

And there does not seem to be such a thing as a cheap GG accessory!!!!

You can get them cheaper if you prowl the classys for months and wait for overseas delivery, it worked for me -- however, I do not recommend this tactic for the fully employed!!!!

What I don't recommend is counting on winning one, I'm 0 for 3 on GGTS, 0 for 2 on GGTB with hours spent on entries and I've found out I'm a ..... at those picture ones -- I think a contest based on Dead songs would be me only hope!!!!
