Question on the Maxi RoughStack V2

We have two Maxi roughstacks (we love 6v vaping). Both of them came with the spring in the switch assembly. Both had to be replaced as they got hot enough to melt the "straw". My question is this: When you order a new maxi roughstack are they shipping with the spring or hardwired? My better half would like another one but i really dont care to "fix" it if I dont have too. Thank you

sjkader i do believe they make them all with the hardwire now but maybe wrong.Sure Hoog will chime in with definate answer.

I got my Maxi RS a few weeks ago, and it doesn't have the spring. It has the wire pre soldered to the 510 connector. The wire is then soldered to a clamp that attaches to the switch assembly with a plastic cover over the clamp. Replacing the switch is as easy as disconnecting the clamp from the switch board and attaching it to the new one. Hope this helps!! vape on!!

Thank you Setxfinest. I just want to have to change out the spring on another one. Soldering is not a strong skill of mine. LOL
