Question on Trustfire TR-001 charger

I bought a couple joyetech 18650 FLAT TOP batts and this charger doesn't seem to work with them. I know it's not the charger, cuz it charges button tops fine. I think the positive end is not making contact with the battery and charger.
Anybody know a SAFE way to get the flat top pos end of the battery to make contact with the little protruding bit on this charger? I know I have a lame charger, but don't want to spring for another just yet.

Yeah the older TR-001 has the positive post embedded within the charger. You could roll up a little aluminum foil, flatten it and put it on the positive side.

The positive dimple set behind the plastic makes for an iffy connection for flat tops.
