question re: shaking nic juice

I ordered and received a 250ml bottle of 60mg nic juice which came in a plastic bottle. I'm more comfortable handling the 60mg instead of the 100mg nic juice right now. I carefully filled 2 60ml and 1 120ml amber glass bottles to make it easier for me to store and use. There was still some left in the original plastic bottle which I just put aside to deal with later.

After finishing and cleaning up, I realized that I had forgotten to shake the original full plastic bottle of nic juice before I started. I suspect I will need to pour the small bottles back into the original and give it a good shake before doing it all over again but I thought I would ask here and get some other opinions on the subject. How important is shaking the nic juice?

would have been better to be on the safe side and shake it but I wouldn't do it now that you've already split it

It's important enough. You should put it all back in one container and give it a very good shaking. (It's only 3 bottles, after all!)

Or get a nic test kit and check the concentrations.

You'd think that once the nic goes into solution, it would stay there. However, the 250 ml bottle of 100mg I received from Wizard Labs clearly states on the label "Shake well before each use." So, there you go.

It would depend on what your base is.
If its VG I would re-do everything.
If its PG I would be less inclined to do it.

Nicotine does not seem to mix with either PG or VG. Which is why they keep asking you to shake it each time before use. I dont think the nic ever fully dissolves.
What little does dissolve seems to dissolve better with PG and less with VG.

Im still trying to figure this out. If my theory is right then Id rather just order my base in PG instead of VG.
I hate PG and love VG.
I also hate the fact that nothing seems to blend well with VG. Flavors or Nic. But its healthier and makes more smoke.

I would say it's time to buy a new DIY toy - get a nic testing kit. Both to address a practical safety matter and to satisfy any curiosity you may have about it.

Regardless, best practice is to shake and/or stir your nic base before parting it out into smaller bottles.

I'm curious why you say that VG is healthier. I suspect you might be correct, but I have not seen anything stating it as fact, just anecdotal info from people that react badly to PG and a lot of others that prefer to use VG for whatever reason.
