Question re sweetening with stevia

Hi, new & wanting to tinker with a couple of flavours that don't quite work for me (thought I needed stronger taste turned out I needed more nic!)
I see that sometimes stevia is sold in the DIY juice supplies as a sweetener & I have a bunch of it - could I add a bit to a pre-mixed juice as a sweetener? If so would I dissolve it in hot water? alcohol? something else? first or just add a bit of the powder.

check in the DIY juice forum i think i saw a couple posts on using this recently.

I use the "to-go" liquid version. Seems to work well. Other have dissolved it in hot water for this purpose too.
