Fine for you ZoidMan. NO problems from me. But it is not for me or some other vapers and may be stopping some from vaping and cause them to go back to coffin nails as I almost did.

The Same could be Said for Stevia. Or Any Sweetener. Or Any Flavor for that Matter.

Taste is Subject.

Use what you Like. Don't use what you Don't.

True. However there are 2 different varieties of Stevia. One is known to have an aftertaste the other not so much, as noted in one of my posts. One should not give up on all stevia until you have tried the non bitter variety. 2 different stevia plants.

I still say that juice companies should disclose all artificial ingredients so we can make an informed choice to use it or not. That way I do not have to blow over $50 to figure out I cannot tolerate the manufactured juice. Had they said sucralose on the label I would not have bought them. Hmm perhaps that is why they do not list the ingredients....

I think you would be Very Surprised how many Retail e-Liquid manufactures use Pure Sucralose as a Sweetener for the e-Liquids that they Sell.

Again even pure sucralose tastes horrible to some people. And I am not suprised at all it is why I blew over $50 on their juices. My point is that if they had said it had sucralose of any purity in them I would not have bought them and wasted enough money to buy a 50W Eleaf. And I just blew it because of no labeling on juice contents.

Eah... If that's the Worst thing that happens to you e-Cigarette wise, your doing Better than Most.

How much were you spending per Month on cigarettes when you Smoked?

That is not the point. MY point is that ejuice makers SHOULD list the ingredients in their products so consumers can make an informed choice. Them not doing that is one aspect that the FDA will jump on.

They also open themselves up to lawsuits if someone has a severe allergic reaction to an unlisted ingredient. Peanuts for one example.

I think this is why Many People DIY.

So they Know and Control exactly what is in their e-Liquids.

I am not at all surprised since I had to give up on purchased eliquid except for 2 tobacco ones because of my intolerance of sucralose. This is why I use stevia.

Whenever I have anything with sucralose in it, I get a bad taste in my mouth lasting aproximately 8 hours. I know this is not psychosomatic because it happens when I consume some by accident and unknowingly. It is a big red flag to get me reading the fine print on whatever I recently had. It’s how I found out sucralose is in Airborne. Anyway, I was wondering if this happens to anyone else.

Side Effects of Splenda or Sucralose are Dangerous and Poisons

The reaction/bad taste to sucralose is real and documented for some people.

I am not even going to get into the other issues some have with it, but that is not MY issue with it. My issue is the horrible taste and lingering aftertaste.

It might benefit juice manufacturers to make sucralose free juices and state on them as such. I would buy some as I wish I could enjoy the myrid of flavors and juices out there.

I get the same exact effect from all the alcohol-sugars -- sorbitol, mannitol, and possibly the infamous ethyl maltol. At the dentist, I always BEG them to not use the topical crap before they stick the needle in; I can stand a moment of pain FAR better than i can stand having that icky artificial taste in my mouth for the rest of the day!

However, to me, sucralose tastes exactly like sugar. *shrug*

Which sweetner do you plan on using is the first question? Some are more potent than others. Aside from that add a few drops shake well and test. Repeat as needed. Note that the juice will age with the sweetener and it will get sweeter with time.
I have no idea yet, and am open to suggestions. I am glad it's that easy! :thumb:

I just bought the Sweetener-TFA from Bull City Vapor.
The shipping was going to cost more than my order, so I ordered a couple bottles, since I like really sweet juice.

I do too, apparently. When I discovered sweetener, suddenly all these pre-made juices I had thought "meh" were really good! I could actually taste them!

Maybe that's what I should try with that awful Halo Voodoo.

Who knows, maybe I'll be making my own juice? After all, this is like dipping my toe into the DIY water. :sneaky:

It's really not hard... and it's so nice being in control of every aspect: nic, PG/VG, sweetness, strength of flavor -- I need something strong I can actually taste, with these tastebuds that were abused for 39 yrs! Since I've started making my own juices, I find it very difficult to find any premade juices that taste like anything at all to me, and most of them have a great deal more VG than my lungs are prepared to deal with -- and I vape 10mg, which nobody makes, so I have to fiddle with it in any case.

The dessert and tobacco vapes are usually ok for me, but I'm finding that a lot of fruit flavours have almost no sweetness to them and/or are really "dry." I assumed that the dryness was caused by a lack of sweetness, however, could it be caused by be the level or ratio of either PG or VG? Is one these more "dry" that the other? I'm beginning to like cream type flavours, but I find that many of them, depending on the PG and nic (I vape 18mg) level, will sometimes have a black pepper aftertaste - I hate the taste of black pepper except on steak. lol.
Peter

Have you considered that the aftertaste may well be the nicotine itself? 18mg is quite a high level and I definitely feel it in the back of my throat and in the mouth as a bitter astringency when I go above 12mg/ml.

The PG probably also contributes to the dryness: make sure you drink plenty while, or just after, vaping. I tend to recommend tea, as it also contains nicotine and can act as an appetite-suppressant. :)
