Question/Really good idea (maybe)

I'm curious as to whether or not there is any cig-a-like that produces vapor at the end of the battery just like a burning cigarette.

I know this is kind of a strange question considering the liquid in a cig-a-like wouldn't be near the unthreaded part of the battery but I think it would be cool to have something like that, just to simulate smoking an analog even further.

I haven't seen any like that. Closest I've seen/used had the red led light up tip on the battery. Good luck!

Seems like a waist of juice, and a deterrent from taking it out, and putting it into your pocket quickly. Also, most serious vapers move on from cig-a-likes quickly. That said, there would be a market from it.

My thoughts exactly but was just curious.

By the way, I don't use cig-a-likes. I just thought it would be cool to have.

It would be a waste of time. There were cig alternatives a while back that had a wisp of smoke out of the end when you puffed but they didn't take off. The batts with the led in the tip also didn't take off so well (e-hooka kit) mainly because they suck. IMO we need to get away from the cig like ideas more just because the "if it looks like a cig it is a cig" crowd of rush to ban anything perceivably bad groups of those "we must be mom to everyone" type people.

I think the real problem with this idea is the battery. Cig-a-likes can barely put out enough power to produce a satisfying vape, asking that same battery to blow out vapor at the other side would be imho to much to ask.

But if someone pulls it off and mass produces it, he'll sell tons of them.

On the contrary, blu and Njoy hold a serious majority of the e-cig market, and they both have light up tips. It's the most prevalent public perception of a personal vaporizer, a term which most have never heard.

I can attest to the E-Health Cigarette...it was NOT good. Tried these quite a while ago....sent me right back to smoking. Glad I found better setups that have made me cigarette free.

I remember seeing a really cool home made e-pipe that vapor came out of the bowl along with a red glow when it was toked on, but have'nt seen any cigalikes like that.

The more a vaporizer looks and acts like a cigarette, the easier it is for the ANTZS TO OPPOSE THEM. I would like to see all the cigalikes go away. A simple ego and clearo should be fine for the masses and harder to mistake for an analog. Just my 2 cents

Personally I don't think pvs should look like cigarettes. That said, that is the exact reason I first picked up on the ecig thing.. Cigalikes. They have their place in the market. To introduce smokers to vaping. Unfortunately it leaves some with a bad taste in their mouth (haha) and they say, "yeah, I tried the vaping thing (blu, njoy, whatever) and it wasn't for me." Turn their noses up at egos etc. kind of had the opposite effect on me... Wanted something better after blu wasn't cutting it.

IMO: cigalikes have their place in the market, and if there are any improvements to be made it's to the experience... Better flavor, vapor, and longer battery life (or better charging? Charge while it's in the pack without having to disassemble the whole damn thing?).. For the better flavor and vapor, I think you need more power eg bigger battery... eGo or better...

That's true but I was interested as more of a novelty. I didn't expect it to do the job really, that's what tank systems are meant for...

I tried all different kinds of cig-alikes and they didn't do the trick for me. Tasted nasty and didn't give off enough vapor. These were part of several of my failed attempts to quit smoking. I didn't care if they fogged off the tip or not. I just couldn't get the effect from the other end. It was not until I found a PV and went all out did I actually quit smoking all together. This was the best day of my life. I'm sure there could be a market for these but if the consumers that buy them are anything like I was, the market will be short lived. Good luck and this May be your "million dollar" idea!

Yeah, cigalikes are a stepping stone (mistake) most of us started with... There are a select few who enjoy them, but imo they just don't know how much better it gets!

It's an effective gate way to vaping for most, so I guess it's not a total mistake..
