The spec for my batt is :

Model Number: ICR18350

Type: Li-ion

Voltage: 3.7V

Capacity: 900mAh

Size: 18mm X 35mm

PVC: Blue color

Weight: 50g

so if let's say i get another batt with higher mah would i be able to use them? what other better batts are out there that i could use with this? Do they need to be ICR batts?

For example i saw this batt online :

18350 1200mah 3.7V Rechargeable Li-ion protected Battery (2 pcs)

PCS: 2 PCS
spec: 18350 1200mah 3.7V
Material: Li-ion
Size(mm); 37(L)X18(D)
Weight(g): 55/60

will i be able to use this batt? thanks alot for helping a newbie

Higher maH batteries will work as long as your mod is forgiving if a battery's overall length is a bit longer than what you currently use. A battery's model will reveal it's size, 18350 means diameter is 18mm and length is 35mm. But due to the protection circuit manufacturers place at the ends, it becomes a bit longer. Seeing that the battery you want to purchase is 37mm, check your existing battery's length if same. When it comes to battery capacity, the higher the maH, the longer usage but you should be aware that most cheap branded battery's marketed maH is way more than their actual capacity. In the end, it's best if you shell a out a bit more $$ for a branded one for better battery life and it will be safer too!
