Question regarding cartos

Just started on Thursday, have a Volt and RY4 (24mg) on one battery and cappuccino on the other.

Finished my first Ry4 carto and really liked it. Has some trouble with my lips but that issue is gone. The first Ry4 seemed to last forever (which is a good thing) and the cappuccino is going to last a long time because I don't care for it.

Now for the question - the 2nd RY4 carto, from the same pack, just doesn't have the throat hit or the vapor that the first one had - is this a common occurrence? I know I should buy my own juice and I will, actually just reading about all the vendors, but in the meantime...this is puzzling and being a newbie I thought I would ask the pros. Oh, it's also on the same battery that the first one was on.

How is it on a freshly charged Volt? Put it on the charger (this helps batteries last longer anyway-don't wait until they need to be charged) and make sure it's fully charged and try it again.

I guess anything is possible. They come in a blister pack, right? Maybe one is a bit dried out? But I'd see how it is with the battery fresh off the charger first.

If you like Volts Ry4, you can get a bottle and top off your prefilled cartos.

Same battery. Have you recharged the battery or just changed the carto? If that's the case, there may not be enough power in the battery to give you the vapor and throat hit.

Thanks everyone - I am going to try recharging the battery. I did switch it to the other battery and same thing - very little throat hit and hardly any vapor. It is from the same blister pack - glad the first one was good or I would have given up this dream
I will order a bottle but I think Smokeless image is all PG and I want to try and 80/20 blend. When I start reading about all the different vendors and all the flavors well it is truly overwhelming. I am reading through the RY4 thread and in there alone there a a zillion opinions.

Could just be a bum carto. That's the nice thing about cartos -- if they fail, at least they're pretty cheap. Unfortunate that it happened to you right at the start.

Yeah but it could have been worse - the first one counts lol. I will try the battery in the morning and then give up on this cart and try the next - appreciate the help

Don't make yourself crazy with juice at first. Stick with one you sort of like. Every once in a while give a new one a try. I liked my first juice fairly well but thought I had to try every juice I saw mentioned. I still vape the same one I started with. Plus a few more.

Your tastes change drastically after you've been vaping for awhile. You can really go into debt on a quest for THE perfect juice. What you hate today you may love in a month.

There is some variation in the ohms of the same cartos. I have not gotten any noticeable differences with those cartos but it can happen. Also an overfilled carto will not have as much punch as one that is perfectly damp.

Also, swedishfish I do appreciate your advice regarding the juice. I have about 20 written down so far and i said to myself " this is crazy" so I think I will take your advice. I d o like the RY4 except I get a bit too much caramel on the exhale and thought I would find another similar. I like sweet but I like to eat sweets not yet into vaping them.
